PATIENT

In a world where digital solutions allow people access to information in real-time, why is it still so difficult to get in to see your doctor?

Sometimes it’s OK to wait for a doctor’s appointment. Other times you’d like to get in as soon as possible, at a more convenient time, or take advantage of an appointment time made available from someone else’s cancellation.

Introducing WaitLess Medical - See your doctor sooner.

After you make an appointment to see your doctor, log into our free WaitLess app.  Go to “create wish list” and select better or more convenient appointment times to see your doctor.

When your doctor has a cancellation, his/her staff logs into WaitLess to post the availability.  If it matches with one of the times you selected in your wish list, great news!  You get a text message (or email) with a match for a new or better time to see your doctor.

Click on the link in the text or email message. If you want to accept that time slot, click confirm.  Both you and your doctor get a text message and an email with the new date and time of your appointment.  It’s that simple.  The best news of all? It’s free for patients!

"I believe it will help the underserved population I treat by improving patient access."

Patient cancellations and missed appointments cost providers $150 billion dollars each year. 10% - 20% of gross revenue is lost to hospitals, imaging centers and surgical centers.

The probability of a patient no-showing increases the further out they are booked. When a patient cancellation turns into a no-show, there is no way to recoup the lost revenue for this patient. On average, providers and clinic systems have an 10-20% no show or last minute cancellation rate.  That translates to lost revenue for up to 1 out of 5 appointment slots.  Addressing cancellations and no-shows is the key to recouping some of that lost revenue.

Providing patients access to earlier appointments by automatically notifying them of newly available time slots that meet their scheduling preferences is the best way to minimize revenue loss. Notably, this can also help improve patient satisfaction.

WaitLess Medical is an automated HIPAA compliant cloud-based software platform that keeps a doctor’s office or procedure schedule full with patients looking for cancellations. A Web App notifies patients of cancellations by provider and scheduling preference.  The service is free for patients and pays for itself with one filled appointment per month.

WaitLess Medical minimizes the need for providers to overbook schedules to compensate for open appointments and frees up staff from talking with patients who are looking for cancellations or need to change their appointment times.

Provider registration is easy. Click below to start the sign up process.
